As a young person, I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that cussing is so common many people do not even realize they are doing it. Some beliefs even encourage using profanity to overcome challenges and teaching that it’s a preferred substitute for inflicting violence on other people. My question to you is, do you believe it’s true? What does God think about it? How much power do your words really have? Why are they considered “bad” words? Is everyone overreacting? If God loves me anyway, why does it matter what I say?
